Some people go for the corn dogs, Sweet Martha's cookies, or the deep fried candy bar on a stick.  Others go to size up the livestock and run grain samples through their hands.  Still others are on the lookout for carnival games and rides that propel captive passengers hundreds of feet in the air.  But, if you're anything like me, you know the Minnesota State Fair is the place to be for one thing only: CONCERTS!

You've got to hand it to the Minnesota State Fair organizers.  They know how to run a massive event that draws tourists throughout the midwest.  And in recently history, they have made even more of a concerted (pun intended!) effort to host top notch musical acts  The upcoming lineup is no exception.  Rockers like Three Doors Down and newcomers Paramore will jam out on August 21st and 26th respectively.  Country crooner, Dierks Bentley, will arrive on the 25th and superstar Brad Paisley will have girls swooning on the 22nd.  Even the Backstreet Boys will make an appearance on August 23rd!  What could be better than listening to the lyrics of "Don't Want You Back" at a live concert?
