The Minnesota Golden Gopher Basketball team has been a member of the Big Ten Conference since 1905 and the past century led the team to develop from a small, relatively unknown squad to a popular team supported by thousands.  In its early days, the Minnesota Gopher Basketball roster was led by L.J. Cooke, the director at Minneapolis YMCA.  Cooke brought the Minnesota Gopher Basketball team to several conference victories and the Gophers were even national champs in 1902-1903.

By 1928, the Minnesota Gopher Basketball team had a new coach, Dave McMillian, and a new venue, the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse.  Under Coach McMillian, the Minnesota Golden Gopher Basketball team came close to several Big Ten conference wins, but didn't secure a true victory until 1937.  The squad also competed for a spot in the Olympics, but fell short of representing the US in playoffs.

The next decades saw coaches like John Kundla, Clem Haskins, and Dan Monson come and go.  Academic fraud and controversy followed Clem Haskins especially, but today the Minnesota Gopher Basketball team has cleaned up its reputation under Coach Tubby Smith.  To see the Minnesota Gopher Basketball team live, purchase Minnesota Gopher Basketball tickets today.  Minnesota Gopher Basketball tickets are available 24 hours a day.  Best of all these Minnesota Gopher Basketball tickets are sold by a Minneapolis broker with a strong reputation for fair pricing and no hassles.  Purchase your Minnesota Gopher Basketball tickets today and check out a team with not only a rich history but also a strong tradition for bringing home wins to Williams Arena!
